Performance
Under the hood, the 2021 Ford EcoSport comes standard with a turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine that comes paired to a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Altogether, this powertrain produces a performance output of 123 horsepower and 125 pound-feet of torque.
That said, your performance options don't stop there. Higher trim levels feature an available 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that maximizes the EcoSport's power capabilities. At its zenith, this second powertrain gets the subcompact SUV up to speed to the tune of 166 horsepower and 149 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is also available.
