Curvier and More Powerful

The Ford Escape gets one of the biggest changes it has seen in years, offering a reworked exterior, improved engine options, and a longer list of standard features. The compact SUV market has numerous options available to you, so it's easy to get lost in the choices. The Ford Escape offers you an updated SUV that brings you all the modern amenities and compact side that you will love here in the Lincoln Park area.

Updated Engines

The Escape features an updated frame, that drops the weight by about 200 lbs overall, and thanks to a wider stance, the Escape is more agile than ever before. You have four powertrain options to pick from, starting with two EcoBoost options, a 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter four-cylinder that bring 180 and 250 horsepower, respectively. You can also choose a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine that brings you a unique cylinder-deactivation technology. This system boosts efficiency by deactivating, and reactivating, cylinders as they are needed to maximize your power and efficiency. You'll hardly even notice this cylinder deactivation, as it takes only about 14 milliseconds to switch.

The Escape, when properly equipped, can tow up to 3,500 pounds when equipped with the 2.0-liter engine. The Escape also features a new eight-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly and provides you with all the energy you need.

The Escape has always been packed with technology, and the new 2020 Escape brings even more to love. You can add features like a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a heads-up display, adaptive cruise control, FordPass Connect Telematics, the SYNC 3® infotainment system, and more! With the FordPass Connect Telematics system you'll be able to remotely lock, unlock, start, and even locate your Escape, right from your smartphone.
